Late Lenihan point sees Kilbrin home
Like the last day this was a nip and tuck affair with Kilbrin dominating the opening and last quarter while Castlemartyr controlled either side of half time.
The sides were level on eight occasions over the hour. Castlemartyr led 0-9 to 0-6 at half time and inside three minutes of the second half had points from Eddie Clifford and Barry Lawton to lead by four for the second time.
Frees from Stephen O’Reilly, Shane Crowley and Willie Egan brought Kilbrin back into the game and Garrett Lenihan’s point two minutes from time decided this thrilling game.
