Two goals within a two minute spell from Seanie Malone and Gearóid Curtin had the Clare champions 2-6 to 0-2 clear at the break. Two Mark O’Sullivan frees for Rathkeale closed the gap before Conor and Eoin Cleary nailed points at the other end. Brian Curtin heaped misery on the losers when he notched a third goal.
