Double delight for busy Scariff
A goal after 30 seconds from their nippy corner-forward Sarah O’Donnell set the tone and the same player pounced for a second to leave it 2-8 to 0-3 at half-time.
The second half began in similar fashion to the first, except Scariff’s conversion rate slipped.
Celebrations were put on ice, however, as they beat Tara of London in a 24-hour turnaround in the All-Ireland quarter-finals, 0-8 to 0-4, yesterday.
