Cratloe cruise to semi-final date with Éire Óg

Cratloe advanced to a Clare SFC semi-final with Éire Óg, Ennis next weekend after an impressive 2-6 to 0-7 win over Kilrush Shamrocks in Clarecastle yesterday.

The winners were never troubled and led 1-4 to 0-2, at the break after playing with the wind. They grabbed their first goal through Sean Collins, whose speculative shot from distance deceived keeper Tony Burke.

Things went from bad to worse for Kilrush on the restart when Cratloe’s inter-county hurling star, Cathal McInerney, left-footed to Burke’s net.
