Ó Tuama earns Castlemartyr a replay

Castlemartyr 0-14 Kilbrin 0-14

Kilbrin held a 0-12 to 0-7 half-time advantage, Shane Crowley firing over three frees and another two brilliantly-struck long-range frees from William Egan, the highlights.

Jimmy Smiddy, however, had registered three efforts for Castlemartyr in the first-half, including two beautiful scores in open play. Yet, despite Kilbrin’s initial dominance, their performance dipped alarmingly in the second-half as their opponents, with Smiddy contributing another three points, outscored them 0-7 to 0-2 to force a draw. Barra Ó Tuama scored the equaliser in additional-time.
