Mayo wait on Horan decision

Mayo county chairman Paddy McNicholas does not know if James Horan will be manager next season after a meeting this week failed to resolve the matter.

Horan’s met county board members on Tuesday night, but was still unable to commit to the position for another year.

“James said he will come back to us with an answer soon, but the sooner it is the better to be honest,” said McNicholas.
