Johnston tipped for Cavan recall

Martin Dunne believes Seanie Johnston is playing well enough for Cavan Gaels to earn a recall to the Breffni squad next year.

Dunne, who is expected to receive an All Star nomination today after scoring 1-33 in his rookie year in championship football, is delighted to have Johnston back on home turf after a disappointing stint with Kildare.

The duo have helped Gaels reach the county final against Ballinagh on October 13 following Johnston’s club return last month.
