Conor McHugh’s grabbed the all-important goal in the 40th minute but it took a superb point from Frankie Dolan 10 minutes from time to cement Brigid’s place in the final.

Clann were 0-6 to 0-3 ahead at the break. Donie Shine kicked four points, but the lead wasn’t sufficient to halt Brigid’s gallop.

Clann were 0-7 to 0-5 ahead when McHugh pounced to find the net. Clann side responded with points from Ronan Gavin and Shine but Dolan won it for Brigid’s.

13-man Western Gaels staved off a late Castlerea St. Kevin’s rally to book their place in the final with a 1-10 to 2-5 victory.

Gaels led 0-10 to 0-4 when Cathal Dineen set up Gerard Heneghan for a goal. But Barry Creighton’s fisted goal in the 61st minute catapulted Gaels back into the comfort zone.
