McGrath undecided on Déise role

De La Salle boss Derek McGrath will weigh up his options regarding the vacant position of Waterford senior hurling manager after seeing his side make a surprise exit from the club championship on Saturday.

McGrath insisted he gave little thought to the matter before the crunch quarter-final with Ballygunner.

“In the run up to this game I wasn’t involved in any type of self promotion in terms of putting my name forward. My name was out there but it’s something that I would have to consider when the club scene was over.
