Donaghy back on Kerry bench

Kieran Donaghy has returned to the Kerry substitutes’ bench for Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final with Dublin in Croke Park (3.30pm).

Donaghy back on Kerry bench

Donaghy, who didn’t start the Munster final win over Cork, came back into the side for the All-Ireland quarter-final win over Cavan as James O’Donoghue was injured, but O’Donoghue’s return to fitness sees him back in the full-forward line.

O’Donoghue is one of three changes. Killian Young, who lined out at centre-back in the quarter-final win over Cavan at the start of this month, sustained a dislocated ankle and fractured shin bone during a training match at Fota Island in Cork last weekend, and his absence has led to manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice opting to rejig his defence.
