Brosnan’s paws for thought

The curious case of the lost dog struck the Kerry footballers again this weekend when Eoin Brosnan’s pet pooch went missing.

Brosnan’s paws for thought

“Bertie” went missing on Sunday shortly before Brosnan came on as a sub in Kerry’s All-Ireland quarter-final win over Cavan in Croke Park.

The dog was eventually found, with a relieved Brosnan tweeting yesterday: “Bertie has shown up. Went missing from Ross Road yesterday and has shown up in Lackabane. Thanks for all the help and retweets.”

Brosnan is the second member of the Kerry panel to lose a dog in the last two seasons. In May 2012, Kieran Donaghy was late for an A versus B training game as he tried to locate his canine friend.
