Cork GAA site proving a real hit

Cork GAA chiefs have expressed their delight following the news the county’s website has had more than 500,000 visits in a month for the first time.

During July, www.gaacork.iehad 535,000 ‘hits’, representing a 17% increase on the same period last year, and bringing the total number for 2013 to more than 2.5 million.

“We are delighted the site is continuing to grow,” said Cork PRO Tracey Kennedy. “We first used Google Analytics in 2010, and in July of that year we had 243,000 visits. July is always the peak month due to Cork’s championship involvement and county championship draws.”
