Croke Park to open up Hill 16 for Sunday’s games
A decision was made yesterday to close Hill 16 as Croke Park officials did not envisage the crowd exceeding 50,000.
However, a meeting last night resulted in the entire ground being opened for the repeat of last year’s AlI-Ireland SFC final.
Cavan, who are playing in their first quarter-final since the introduction of the back door are also expected to bring a large crowd.
Ticket sales for the Saturday night have already passed 20,000.
