McCarthy: Criticism of Cork not balanced

Cork selector Ronan McCarthy says there was an absence of balance in some of the criticism of the team’s Munster final defeat to Kerry.

For the second time in three years in a Killarney provincial decider, Cork were playing catch-up after a dismal first-half after which they trailed by seven points.

Once again, they staged a fightback and on this latest occasion they got to within two points before Kerry pulled away and secured the win.
