For Cork’s Paudie O’Sullivan it was April, just seven minutes into a county SHC game against CIT with his divisional side, Imokilly. He had just scored and got himself into position under a dropping ball when it happened.

“Just one of those things, a ball I’ve jumped for a thousand times in my career and hopefully will a thousand times more. Just landed awkwardly, the leg gave way.”
