Cadogan and Kelly set for return in qualifiers

Cork expect to have injured pair Eoin Cadogan and Patrick Kelly available for their next game, in the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers fourth round.

Cadogan and Kelly set for return in qualifiers

Having lost to Kerry in Sunday’s Munster final, Cork are not in action again until the final weekend in July, when they will meet one of the winners of the four ties in the third round of the qualifiers. They hope that that will allow Cadogan and Kelly ample recovery time.

Cadogan went over on his ankle just before half-time in Sunday’s defeat in Killarney and was replaced at the interval by Tom Clancy. Kelly, meanwhile did not feature at all — despite being in the side announced last Thursday — after he suffered what is believed to be a recurrence of the hip problem which kept him out of action during this year’s league campaign. Neither injury is thought to be too severe, though.
