Mind games aplenty as Cork reveal ‘named’ team

Cork have named the same side that beat Clare in the Munster SFC semi-final for Sunday’s provincial decider against Kerry.

As usual with the Cork football side, however, ‘named’ is the operative word, as the only certainty which can be taken from last night’s team announcement is that the numbers worn by the Rebels are known.

For Sunday’s game in Killarney, which has a 2pm start, the numbers 21 (Aidan Walsh), 23 (Ciarán Sheehan) and 25 (Donncha O’Connor) could all feature by throw-in time.
