Leinster chairman Martin Skelly has not ruled out taking Dublin away from Croke Park for Leinster SFC games next year — but admits finance and the adequacy of other county grounds in the province may prohibit against it.

Skelly was Longford chairman seven years ago when Dublin last played a provincial game outside GAA HQ in Pearse Park, a day he says will live long in the memories of the natives.

Now wearing another hat, he appreciates there are a number of criteria that have to be satisfied before a Leinster game involving Dublin could be staged somewhere outside Croke Park.
