Fit-again Honan major boost to Banner’s title prospects

A welcome win on Sunday for Clare in the Munster senior hurling championship; welcome also was the sight of full-forward Darach Honan bearing down on goal and causing mayhem every time he got on the ball.

It’s been a while in coming and hopefully now Honan is here to stay, the injury problems that have so blighted his progress over the last few years finally resolved.

“I was just delighted to get back out there, to be honest. It was probably only my third or fourth full game this year. It just means so much to be back out there playing and just enjoying it.
