Canning is unfazed by critics of Tribesmen

Joe Canning has taken a dismissive swipe at Galway’s critics, insisting while he’s aware of their detractors, he doesn’t let them affect him.

The 2012 All Star admits he’s been amused by how Galway have gone down in some pundits’ estimations despite having a better league this year than last season, when they were almost relegated.

“It doesn’t really bother me where people put us, you know, but it’s funny how people can change the way they look at things over a short period of time. Most of the time, it takes only 70 minutes of a match.
