Cotter points the way for Cork

Cork started well and opened the scoring after 15 seconds with a point from Cotter. Briege Corkery was her usual busy self and contributed a point soon after.

Tipperary relied on All Star Jill Horan at midfield to pull the strings, but Milford’s Aisling Thompson lorded it all evening there and snuffed out the threat.
