Tipperary football manager Peter Creedon is looking for some consistency in this year’s championship after describing referee Marty Duffy’s behaviour towards his players last year as “pretty insulting”.

Creedon said at yesterday’s Munster championship launch that Duffy had spent last year’s Kerry-Tipperary game calling the Kerry players by their first names, while using no Tipperary player’s name.

“All during the game when Marty was making calls, calling fouls, he was addressing the Kerry players by their first names,” said Creedon.
