O’Leary lifts Crokes

Crokes’ SFC opponents, Legion, brushed past bottom side Spa, 0-17 to 1-7, with David O’Sullivan scoring 0-7.
Stacks remain unbeaten after a 1-14 to 0-7 win over St Michaels/Foilmore, with Kerry U21 player Shane O’Callaghan getting their goal.
Kilcummin got a much needed win over struggling Laune Rangers, 1-12 to 0-8, with Kieran Murphy getting the winners’ goal, while Kerins O’Rahillys, with Mike Quirke and Barry John Keane to the fore, beat Milltown/Castlemaine 0-11 to 1-6.
Meanwhile, the draws for the Castleisland Mart Club Championship semi-finals were made over the weekend.
In the senior section Dr Crokes will face the winners of Rathmore and Finuge while Legion meet Milltown/Castlemaine.
In the Intermediate grade, St Mary’s were paired with Listowel Emmets; Skellig Rangers must wait on Currow/Ardfert or An Ghaeltacht.
Glenbeigh/Glencar, led by Darran O’Sullivan, face Cordal while Keel play St Pats Blennerville in the junior championship and in the novice Templenoe face Lispole while St Senan’s meet Listry.
All games are scheduled for weekend of June 23.
