Nash: Cork can cope without O’Sullivan

Cork goalkeeper Anthony Nash does not envisage a dramatic alteration to the side’s game plan as a result of the absence of Paudie O’Sullivan through injury.

O’Sullivan suffered a broken fibula and tibia during a county championship game last month, ruling him out for the rest of the year. Nash, whose puckouts will be key to any strategy employed by Jimmy Barry-Murphy’s side, is not expecting much to change, though.

“Paudie had been playing in the half-forward and full-forward lines, so we don’t even know where he would have been playing in championship,” he said.
