Happy Galvin ’ready to step it up again’

A league title wasn’t the only cause for celebration amongst Limerick football fans at Croke Park on Saturday.

The continuing rehabilitation of John Galvin continued apace at GAA HQ, with the towering midfielder playing 65 minutes as he returns from a second cruciate injury.

And the man himself loved every second of the occasion before being called ashore due to a slight hamstring strain.
