Clarke’s return gives Armagh extra impetus

The early return of Jamie Clarke from his global travels provides Armagh manager with a huge boost ahead of the Ulster Championship preliminary round tie against Cavan.

Clarke restricted his safari to a month, taking in Australia and South America, so that he could link up with the Orchard County squad again as they continue their intensive build-up to the tie.

Armagh will head off for a training weekend on Friday with Clarke in their party, his return having already given extra impetus to Armagh’s preparations.
