McManamon: Top team in league should be champions
Jim Gavin’s side finished highest in the pile after seven rounds with five wins and a draw and will face Mayo, a team that won only three of their seven games, in Sunday’s last four game in Croke Park. It was Dublin who, along with Cork, last played in the final in 2011 before semi-finals were introduced last year.
However, McManamon anticipates Mayo, like they did in the round game between the teams last month, will be highly motivated for their latest clash.
