No word on McBrearty injury

Dublin chairman Andy Kettle last night said he had not been made aware by Donegal of an injury to Paddy McBrearty during Sunday’s draw in Ballybofey.

Reports claim the 2012 young player of the year nominee was treated for a cut shoulder picked up during the first half and was taken to Letterkenny Hospital for further assessment following Sunday’s game.

According to the Donegal Democrat, Dublin team doctor David Hickey was informed of the injury and it had been reported to referee Padráig Hughes by Donegal officials.
