Dermot Earley has robustly questioned Kildare County Board’s leadership after agreeing to stage the county’s home Division One game against Dublin in Croke Park last weekend.

The two-time All Star described the decision as “ridiculous” and also said the board did not do enough to distance the players from last year’s controversies.

As part of the two-game deal with the Dublin County Board which included their opener against Donegal, Kildare were believed to have received €60,000.
