Horan managing expectation

Outside of Division 1, Limerick are the only unbeaten team in the Allianz Football League and manager Maurice Horan is putting a lot of it down to sweet relief from injury.

Horan managing expectation

Mindful they aren’t even halfway through their Division 4 campaign, the Mayo native is not getting ahead of himself but two of the wins have come away from home. The visit of Carlow, another team with promotion ambitions, to the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday will refocus minds again and Horan is relieved the major injury concerns of last year are a thing of the past.

“The last two league campaigns, we were blighted by injuries. We’ve been able to play the last two games with a fairly settled team,” he said.
