Kingdom makes six changes
Three Dr Crokes players — county captain Eoin Brosnan, Johnny Buckley and Kieran O’Leary — are welcomed back to the fold as well as Kieran Donaghy, having come on a substitute against Dublin, Shane Enright and Donnchadh Walsh.
Forward Walsh hadn’t been expected to return to the team so quickly as he recovered from a hip/groin injury.
Donaghy is named alongside Brosnan in a completely new midfield to either of the pairings that faced Mayo and Dublin.
Hugh Lynch has been picked in Kildare’s midfield for the Newbridge clash, one of four changes with Eoin Doyle, Niall Kelly and Tomás O’Connor all coming into the team.
Gary White started in the win away to Cork but has opted out of the panel due to pending army commitments abroad.
Benny Coulter is named in the Down team to face Cork with Brendan McArdle selected at full-back in one of a number of rearguard positional switches.
