Duggan believes Madigan is man to face Scots

Ronan O’Gara is odds-on favourite to replace the injured Jonny Sexton for the trip to Murrayfield but Duggan believes Madigan, who was called into the squad on Monday night and is battling with Ulster’s Paddy Jackson to catch coach Declan Kidney’s eye, should be the man to get the nod.

Madigan, 23, is uncapped at Test level but has played twice for the Ireland A side. He has also represented Leinster on 70 occasions, including an impressive display against Benetton Treviso at the RDS on Saturday night.
