Frost new Munster Council chairman

Clare’s Robert Frost will succeed Sean Walsh as Munster Council chairman this evening.

The O’Callaghan Mills man, a former Clare chairman, will take the position for the next three years after running unopposed and is the first Banner native to accept the office since Noel Walsh.

Ex-Cork chairman Jerry O’Sullivan replaces Frost as vice-chairman and in doing so becomes the first man from the county to fill the role since Christy Cooney.
