Bal’s O’Sullivan seeks Clonakilty transfer

Cork senior footballer Denis O’Sullivan has applied for a transfer from Ballinascarthy to neighbouring club Clonakilty.

Wing-back O’Sullivan, a Cork panellist since the start of 2011, has not played football for his native club since April 22 last, a Carbery JAFC first-round defeat to Muintir Bháire. His last hurling game for the club came in August of 2011.

O’Sullivan’s was one of a number of transfer applications at last night’s Cork County Board meeting in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with his address given as James P O’Regan St in Clonakilty.
