Finn fires St Gabriel’s to final
Neil Rogers picked off two crucial extra-time points and Finn’s goal steered the London champions to a Croke Park appearance on February 10.
Killimordaly led 1-4 to 1-3 at half time but were reduced to 14 in the first minute of the second half as Niall Earls got a second yellow. In the second half Killimordaly went 16 minutes without scoring before Paul Madden’s goal put them 2-5 to 1-7 ahead. Two Martin Finn frees nosed Gabriel’s back in front before Ryan forced extra-time at the other end.
Finn settled the contest in the 72nd minute when he drilled a 21m free to the net.
