McEntee’s goal spurs Gaels
Their dominance was never in doubt after a powerful opening-half in which they led by 1-9 to 0-0 at the interval with Raemonn McEntee’s superbly struck goal in the 11th minute reflecting their overall supremacy.
Ian Galway hit 1-4 for the Ulstermen from placed balls in the second-half but the excellence of Robbie Power, who hit eight points over the hour, was enough to see Fullen Gaels home comfortably, making amends for last year’s disappointing defeat at the same stage.
