Cadogan and Sheehan get Cork call for Tipp clash

Eoin Cadogan and Ciarán Sheehan are the most high-profile additions to the Cork senior football team for Sunday’s McGrath Cup quarter-final against Tipperary at Páirc Uí Rinn (2pm).

Cadogan, who had been travelling for the past few months, has returned and is named at full-back. While there had been speculation that the Douglas man would commit to only playing football for the coming year, no decision has yet been made on the subject.

The selection of Cadogan frees up Michael Shields to form an all-new half-back line along with Brian Shanahan and Noel O’Leary.
