DCU rally to secure draw
Wicklow were in the driving seat at half-time, leading by 1-7 to 0-4, the goal scored on 26 minutes by corner-forward Brendan McCrea. Another bonus was the form of Paudge McWalter who gave a towering display at centre-back on his return from injury.
The Dublin students got their act together in the second half and two goals in the space of three minutes by substitute Jack Brady and Jack McCarron brought the sides level for a third time, 2-6 to 1-9, on 40 minutes.
