O’Dwyer to miss league for Dublin

Ryan O’Dwyer looks set to sit out the majority of Dublin’s Allianz Hurling League campaign.

The Tipperary native and former All Star nominee is recovering from a shoulder operation over winter. He opted to go under the knife to cure a long-standing issue but has been forced to write off the early part of the new year.

The man who famously netted three times against Limerick in the 2011 All-Ireland quarter-finals, only removed a sling from his shoulder this week.
