Murphy and O’Sullivan’s goals do trick for Glanmire
Coláiste an Chroí Naofa, Carrignavar threatened to pull away after early goals from David Dooling and Killian Ryan helped them open up a 2-4 to 0-0 lead on 17 minutes.
But Glanmire finally found their rhythm with James Sweeney and Charlie O’Connor finding the net. O’Connor blasted in another leaving Carrig 2-5 to 3-1 ahead at half-time.
Despite dominating the second-half, Glanmire only managed a single point through Charlie O’Connor which took the game to extra-time.
Early scores from Evan O’Connell edged Carrig in front but O’Sullivan pulled a loose ball into the net to take Glanmire a point ahead before Murphy sealed the win with a late goal.
