BBC lauded for remembering Páidí

The BBC have been praised for remembering GAA legend Páidí Ó Sé in their Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

Ó Sé, who died on Saturday, was amongst those recalled in a moving tribute to those who died in 2012, including Ulster’s Nevin Spence.

The montage was broadcast during a star-studded gala event at London’s ExCel Arena. The inclusion of the eight-time All-Ireland winner in the sequence garnered massive reaction on Twitter.
