Murphy expects Páirc plan to be unveiled ‘in very near future’

The Cork County Board hope to submit a formal planning application for the redevelopment of Páirc Uí Chaoimh in early 2013.

In his report to next Saturday’s annual convention, secretary Frank Murphy confirmed the process had been delayed by the finalisation of a master plan for the City Marina Park adjacent to the stadium.

“It is however intimated that this will be finalised and adopted in the very near future and will include decisions on the interface between our project and that of the city council,” Murphy added.
