First-half goals pave way for An Port Mór

First half goals from Christopher Lennon and Shane Nugent laid the foundations for victory, and the Orchard men pushed on for glory after Brackaville captain Cahir McGuinness was sent off 12 minutes into the second half.

An Port Mór went in at the break with a 2-3 to 0-6 lead, and extended the advantage through Gary Traynor. While Brackaville fought back with points from Paddy Gervin and Rian McHugh, the Blackwatertown side held on for a deserved victory, Curran and Nugent kicking the insurance points.
