Ricken content as proud St Vincent’s advance to semi-final
As well as the satisfaction gained in following up their county final victory, there was the added bonus of atoning for the defeat by Mullinahone in their last appearance in 2006.
Coach Keith Ricken pointed out that after three hard games in as many weeks, they didn’t do themselves justice six years ago. “This year is slightly different. This is our sixth game in the championship and they have been spread out, with the exception of last Sunday. There is a pride and an honour representing your county and the lads are very much into that.”
