Murphy set to join Déise ticket

Waterford manager Michael Ryan is set to appoint former De La Salle player Ray Murphy as his new selector and coach.

Murphy is expected to take Ken McGrath’s place after the former Waterford captain stepped down last month.

Murphy, along with Luke Lawlor, worked as a selector under Ryan when De La Salle won the Munster club SHC two years ago.
