No denying The Nire as they seal final spot
Goals from Shane Ryan (penalty) and Jamie Barron had the winners 2-6 to 0-7 clear at the interval. Thomas O’Gorman booted home the winner’s third goal soon after the restart and despite some superb points in reply, from the outstanding Brian O’Halloran, Declan Allen, and Karl O’Keeffe, the winners also picked off some quality scores through man of the match Brian Wall, Jamie Barron, and Michael O’Gorman. The Nire face Stradbally in the county final on November 4.
