Cork selection team finalised

Cork coach Conor Counihan spent the weekend finalising his backroom team for next season — and the trio named in this newspaper last week will be confirmed as selectors today — Clonakilty’s Haulie O’Neill, Ronan McCarthy from Douglas and Bishopstown’s Brian Cuthbert.

The latter is the ex-Cork minor coach and will, in all probability, share coaching duties with Counihan.

Meanwhile the throw-ins for next weekend’s final double bill at Páirc Ui Chaoimh have been brought forward, with the senior decider now commencing at 3.15pm and the Premier IFC between St Michaels and St Vincent’s at 1.30pm.
