The provincial council revealed the Connacht final is set for July 21, a week later than it was staged this year. The Connacht final losers last faced the short turnaround in 2010 when Sligo were heavily beaten by Down in Kingspan Breffni Park six days after they were narrowly defeated by Roscommon in Castlebar.

New York and Leitrim get the Championship rolling on Saturday, May 5 in New York. It means the provincial championship, which comprises of six games, will take 11 weeks to complete.
