O’Shea’s Tipp backroom team taking shape

New Tipperary hurling manager Eamon O’Shea’s backroom team is taking shape, with Paudie O’Neill of Clonmel emerging as firm favourite to become a selector along with O’Shea and Michael Ryan, who worked with O’Shea and Liam Sheedy when Tipperary won the 2010 All-Ireland title.

O’Neill is highly regarded a qualified GAA coaching education tutor who gave a presentation at a Croke Park coaching conference last month.

Principal of Knocklyon Primary School in Dublin, O’Neill has been involved in hurling with Ballyboden St Enda’s and with Dublin development and minor teams.
