Doyle leaving Wexford post

All-Ireland-winning Wexford camogie boss JJ Doyle has stepped down from the post.

One of the most successful managers of the modern era, Doyle last month led Wexford to three All-Ireland senior titles in a row. Appointed in 2009, he also steered the Slaneysiders to intermediate glory in 2011.

His management team of Tommy Roche, Joe Brennan, Geraldine Murphy and Gerry McQuaid are also understood to have left their roles. Wexford PRO Barbara Ryan said: “JJ and his team had achieved outstanding success and they will be a hard act to follow.”
